Brand New Walt Disney World Maps

| March 2, 2013 | 8 Replies

Starting tomorrow, March 3rd, Walt Disney World will offer brand new maps for all four theme parks, both water parks, Downtown Disney and ESPN Wide World of Sports. The maps feature the updated park illustrations used in Disney’s My Disney Experience app and each map has a QR code to download the app while in the park.

In addition to giving some information about the new MyMagic+ program, the new maps present an updated and sleeker design than the previous versions. Check them out below and let us know what you think!

i love the new maps, i think the’ll be of great use, the only major problem i have is the way the map’s to Epcot, and Disney Hollywood Studios are set, people are going to think they have to read the map’s upside down, or sideways to figure out which way they’re going to get around the parks, but otherwise they rock!

Michael agreed, I didn’t notice it right away, but you are right. Going to be a bit confusing for some.

        more than a “bit” confusing!

Disney’s response: “You’re holding it wrong!”

This is all exciting but I now find myself wishing we could go back to the days of no cell phones and technology and just go walk around the Magic Kingdom for the day.

Hmm… I just received the old maps for my first visit to WDW. I wonder if I will need to get the new ones when I arrive? It’s a lot of territory to cover for a newbie to the parks.
