It looked like a busy day on Main Street but the crowds weren’t bad once you left this area.
There is still construction going on along with some refurbishments.
This is Casey’s Corner. The Main Street Bakery is still closed as they transform it to a Starbucks location.
The Mad Tea Party is closed for a refurbishment until 5/22/2013.
The construction continues for the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train coaster. I love being able to peek through the fence to see the progress of this attraction.
Work continues on the Princess Fairytale Hall. This is the former location of the Snow White ride. It will be a meet and greet location when it opens. No dates have been announced.
I found a fun character interaction while strolling through Fantasyland. They were playing the childhood game Freeze. The musicians were playing in the background. I saw parents and children joining in. I think I found a role I would like to play at Magic Kingdom. I loved the tagger and her costume.
As I headed over to the Tangled area where the former Skyway station was, I spied this sign.
There are apparently 10 of them hidden in the area. I found 4. They are really hidden but it would be fun to play with your children as they are cooling off in this nice relaxing area. There is a nice seating area with tables and chairs and hidden in the logs are outlets if you need to recharge your cell phone.
They have put up a scrim to hide where the bathrooms were next to Peter Pan and Columbia Harbor House. I hope they put up a painted scrim. They look much nicer.
If you ever visited the Yankee Trader outside the Haunted Mansion you will notice they removed the side door.
I will keep everyone updated as the construction progresses. I love the new area in Fantasyland. It is so beautiful and it does help with the congestion that used to be in that area.
