Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Photography

| November 18, 2013 | 14 Replies

After posting the photo blog of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, I received several messages asking me to do the same for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. It’s my pleasure! With a similar approach to MNSSHP, I focused more on the environment and things that caught my eye around the park.

I personally love this party! I don’t go for the cookies or hot chocolate. I go because it puts me in the Christmas spirit (even before Thanksgiving) and I love seeing the Magic Kingdom dressed up for the holidays. For me, experiencing this event through the lens of my camera is fun, but it will never compare to seeing it through the eyes of my children, or someone attending for the first time. I hope you enjoy the photos.

The photos below were taken with a Canon EOS 5D Mark III / Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II lens / Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS lens. If you are interested in the other camera equipment I use, here’s a link to what’s in my camera bag on Pinterest.

I believe I had the pleasure of shooting right next to you on this night. These were taken on the 11th, yea? Great shots! Here’s the only one I’ve been able to even remotely edit so far.

I agree with you completely, Corey. That is why I go to Walt Disney World every December. Absolutely, the most wonderful 2013 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party photos that I have ever seen. Thank you and I would like to see more if you have them.

Thanks, Corey! I’m seeing your photos through the eyes of someone who has never been and it looks incredible. I’m sure you do it justice. Your photos could be postcards! Can’t wait to take the kids in December 2014, all the way from Australia.

Wow….these photos might just be enough to get me through the holidays and another year without visiting. I’m hoping for a 2014 winter trip!! Awesome job Corey!! Thanks for sharing!

These are the most gorgeous Disney Christmas photos I have ever seen. (Combining my two favorite things? Disney and the Christmas season? You really can’t go wrong.) I went to the party with my 8 month old and missed a lot of the details. Can’t wait to return when she can experience the magic for herself, and we can try again at seeing it all!
