This weekly blog features Disneyland news and updates from The DIS, the DIS Unplugged and sometimes even the DISboards, plus helpful links to find what you’re looking for around the DIS family of sites. Enjoy!
This week…the subs are back and the compass rose is gone, plus coverage of Mickey’s Halloween Party.
Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage
The subs returned right on time, with the first voyages occurring an hour or so after Park open on Saturday.
Work is being done in the Esplanade on the badly worn compass rose. No word on if the compass will be returning or if we’ll see something else in that area.
Big Hero 6
A 4D preview of the new animated feature Big Hero 6 took over the Magic Eye Theater on Friday. The preview is about 8 minutes long, pretty funny and doesn’t overuse the 4D effects.
Sleeping Beauty Castle
Last week, we told you about the work being done on the drawbridge of Sleeping Beauty Castle. Here are a few more pictures, including a disturbing one that makes it look as if railings are on their way.
Mickey’s Halloween Party
Mickey’s Halloween Party began this Friday! We’ll have more updates and videos throughout the week.
