Just when you thought all the construction was done at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World, there is a new project going on. Walt Disney World recently announced that they are enlarging the Hub area in front of Cinderella Castle. Keep reading for photos of the construction related to this project.

Today was an exciting day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The Festival of the Lion King has reopened in a new building in the Harambe area. The show building is located behind the Tusker House restaurant.

If you are a Star Wars fan, this is a great time to visit Walt Disney World. Today started the first Star Wars Weekend at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for 2014. The dates for this year are May 16-18, 23-25, 30-June 1, 6-8, and 13-15, 2014. The theme this year is “Join The Rebellion.”
I love being in the theme parks at Walt Disney World when it is quiet. I got the chance on opening night to experience Epcot’s After Hours Wind Down. There is something magical about being in the parks when you don’t have to share it with thousands of people.
I went over yesterday to view the beautiful Third Annual Easter Egg Display at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in Walt Disney World. The display is located in the Main Lobby near the front entrance and the eggs will be on display through April 22, 2014.
As part of the My Magic+ testing, Walt Disney World has starting selling MagicBands to offsite day guests. Day guests are those guests who are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort.
