Post by: Nathaniel C. Nelson Some of my earliest memories are those of the times my family and I were visiting Walt Disney World. In fact, these early memories are also some of my favorite ones, as I have always been one who believes in the magic of Disney and all that it represents. Even [...]

Leah grew up in a little farming town in Illinois, right on the Mississippi River. Her Chicago-born husband, David, left the city for her, and they're now raising their three children (Jacob, Jonah and Lydia) just 12 miles from her hometown. As the Senior Editor of the DIS (wdwinfo.com), Leah spends a lot of time writing about, reading about, and discussing Disney. So, it should come as no surprise that one of her family's favorite ways to spend time is going to Walt Disney World and traveling on Disney Cruise Line. She also enjoys shopping, watching movies with her husband and doing crafts with and for her kids.

Over the years, we enjoyed many special touring exhibits revolving around subjects such as The Muppets and artifacts of the Titanic. Adventure [...]
Review by Kevin Klose The California Grill in Walt Disney World’s Contemporary Resort reopened yesterday after a lengthy refurbishment and we were there to see how the old place looks.

None of them exactly say “speed.” If you need more evidence that I’m not a speedster on the roads, consider the following quote from my father-in-law. In 2008, [...]
This summer, we took our first trip to Disneyland and I’ve been documenting our adventure! You can read the first half of our trip report here. The rest of the trip wasn’t as scheduled as the first two days, so I’m just going to jump around and hit some of our highlights. Because the parks [...]
My family (my husband David and I, plus Jacob – 7, Jonah – 5, and Lydia – almost 2) just got back from our first trip to Disneyland and Southern California! We’re Walt Disney World experts, but relied on the Disneyland podcast team to help us plan this trip. We did an audio trip report [...]
We’re home! After so many months of planning, it doesn’t seem possible that our trip is over. I’m the Senior Editor on the DIS and my family (my husband David and I, plus Jacob – 7, Jonah – 5, and Lydia – almost 2) just got back from our first trip to Disneyland and Southern [...]
Last blog before the trip! We leave in just a couple days for our first-ever trip to Disneyland! We’re really getting excited, but we still had a few questions we needed answered by the podcast team. Read on to hear what we talked about on this segment of the DIS Unplugged Disneyland edition.
