This summer, we took our first trip to Disneyland and I’ve been documenting our adventure! You can read the first half of our trip report here. The rest of the trip wasn’t as scheduled as the first two days, so I’m just going to jump around and hit some of our highlights. Because the parks [...]

Leah grew up in a little farming town in Illinois, right on the Mississippi River. Her Chicago-born husband, David, left the city for her, and they're now raising their three children (Jacob, Jonah and Lydia) just 12 miles from her hometown. As the Senior Editor of the DIS (wdwinfo.com), Leah spends a lot of time writing about, reading about, and discussing Disney. So, it should come as no surprise that one of her family's favorite ways to spend time is going to Walt Disney World and traveling on Disney Cruise Line. She also enjoys shopping, watching movies with her husband and doing crafts with and for her kids.
My family (my husband David and I, plus Jacob – 7, Jonah – 5, and Lydia – almost 2) just got back from our first trip to Disneyland and Southern California! We’re Walt Disney World experts, but relied on the Disneyland podcast team to help us plan this trip. We did an audio trip report [...]
We’re home! After so many months of planning, it doesn’t seem possible that our trip is over. I’m the Senior Editor on the DIS and my family (my husband David and I, plus Jacob – 7, Jonah – 5, and Lydia – almost 2) just got back from our first trip to Disneyland and Southern [...]

Disneyland Park can be likened to the Magic Kingdom in Florida, but DCA isn’t like any of the Walt Disney World parks, so it will be completely new to us. On a recent episode of the DIS Unplugged Disneyland edition, I [...]
One of the main things that might dissuade people from booking a vacation with Disney Cruise Line (DCL) is “sticker shock.” However, those who have traveled with DCL know of the amazing experience you get for your money. But, what those who have never cruised may not know is that DCL often offers some great [...]
We’re almost to the 60-day mark on our countdown to our first Disneyland trip and Disney vets will know what that means – time to make dining reservations! Since we know nothing about where and what to eat at the Disneyland resort, I turned to my panel of local experts and asked their opinions on [...]
We’re really getting deep into the planning of our May trip to Southern California and the Disneyland Resort. If you read the last installment of my Help! series, you’ll recall that my family travels to Walt Disney World several times a year, but this will be our first trip out west and we’re really looking [...]
