I love being in the theme parks at Walt Disney World when it is quiet. I got the chance on opening night to experience Epcot’s After Hours Wind Down. There is something magical about being in the parks when you don’t have to share it with thousands of people.
We all know when we walk into a Disney theme park that our 5 senses are about to get a workout. We’ll soon be in sensory overload once we’ve made our way past the entrance, through the main walkway, and around the park. Whether we enjoy a pineapple Dole Whip and arouse our sense of [...]
On March 15th, Epcot introduced the “IllumiNations Sparkling Dessert Party.” For one hour prior to the start of IllumiNations, you get a selection of desserts from around World Showcase along with a limited selection of champagnes and sparkling wines, as well as coffee, tea and soft drinks. The cost for this event is $49 for [...]
Post by Jeff Alves My wife Val & I just moved to Florida and we had our favorite sister-in-law (Tracy) visiting to help with our interior decorating choices. Tracy enjoys gardening so we thought it would be nice to repay her by booking a special tour for the three of us. The Epcot International Flower [...]
I’ll admit it; I sometimes catch myself in a state of day dreaming. In addition, as done for the first time last year, numerous kiosks featuring spring-inspired flavors of treats [...]
The 2014 Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival opened today March 5, 2014. It runs through May 18, 2014. I love this time of year at Epcot. If not my all time favorite event, then it is tied with the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival.

Spring, summer, autumn and winter each bring unique events, weather, crowd levels and offers. In this blog post we will take a look at the different seasons and [...]

Tourists and local Floridians alike have flocked to the theme parks for magic and experiences they can’t get anywhere else. It seems the [...]
This year’s edition of the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend saw runners from all 50 states and 32 countries try and tackle distances they never thought possible. For some runners it may have been a 5k (3.1 miles). For others it may have been their first marathon (26.2 miles), but some runners were looking for [...]
