Post by Jeff Alves My wife Val & I just moved to Florida and we had our favorite sister-in-law (Tracy) visiting to help with our interior decorating choices. Tracy enjoys gardening so we thought it would be nice to repay her by booking a special tour for the three of us.  The Epcot International Flower [...]

You’re in luck!  Despite the pesky rain outside that won’t seem to quit, you’re at one of the best places for a rainy day theme park experience – Universal Orlando, a place where the majority of the attractions are covered or are in buildings.  In fact, probably the most exposure you’ll have to the rainy [...]

Post by Nathaniel Nelson My wife, one-year-old daughter, and I recently embarked on a 7-night sailing through the Eastern Caribbean aboard the Disney Fantasy.  Starting and ending in Port Canaveral, FL, we sailed to St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay.  Cautious about taking a one-year old to an over-stimulating Walt Disney World, [...]

Saying Farewell to Mickey’s Jammin’ Jungle Parade at Animal Kingdom

It featured a 26-foot tall giant Genie balloon, dozens [...]

I’ll admit it; I sometimes catch myself in a state of day dreaming.  Looking at a wall, but only seeing my favorite theme park attractions, brightly colored paint, images of 3 circles connected to each other, and even the hot Florida sun melting my favorite theme park treat.  However, during my daydream it’s different.  I’m [...]

Five Reasons You Should Go See ‘Muppets Most Wanted’ This Weekend

The Muppets are back in theaters after three years! And they fully admit “the sequel’s never quite as good.” 1. You’ll find out that a mole can make your best friends completely unrecognizable. 2. Celine Dion makes everything better. Especially overly-dramatic black and white musical numbers. 3. Tina Fey proves she’s an expert at playing [...]

Just in time for this week’s DVD and Blu-Ray release of Disney’s Academy Award-winning film, Frozen, new merchandise is popping up on the shelves at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland. After selling out their stock back in the late fall, stores are expanding what’s available for adult and kid fans. I recently took a [...]
